School Council

What is School Council?

The school council is a group of children chosen by their classmates to help make the school an even better place. They share ideas, talk about what’s important to pupils, and help teachers make decisions about school life. It’s a way for everyone’s voice to be heard!

How do children become a School Councillor?

Children become school councillors by taking part in a class election. First, anyone who wants to be on the school council gives a short speech or presentation to explain why they would be good for the job. Then, the class votes for the person they think will represent them best. The children with the most votes are chosen to be school councillors for the year.

We listen to everyone’s ideas and share them with fairness and respect.
We work together to make our school a happy, safe, and exciting place to learn.
We take responsibility, show kindness, and aim to make positive changes for our school and community.
