OPJS Christmas Fair Cancelled

30 November 2021

Dear Parents/Carers,

Just a note to sadly inform you that this Friday's Christmas Fair has been cancelled. Given the current challenges, as well as BaNES Public Health advice, we have decided that it is too much of a risk. This is a real shame as so much hard work has gone into organising the event, whether it be gathering donations, sorting hampers/tombolas or producing Christmas crafts. Needless to say, a huge thank you to all who have helped and thank you for your understanding regarding the decision.

Never one to look at a glass half empty, we still intend to have a few Christmassy things for us all to enjoy this Friday! Here goes:

- We will have Christmas Mufti this Friday. Children may wear their Chrimbo finest for a £1.
- We will be selling the 'Jolly Jars' on Friday for a £1.
- We will also be having our Chocolate Tombola stall during a special afternoon break too!

Therefore, it would be great if your child could bring in some money (max £5) in an envelope/purse this Friday so that they can enjoy their special afternoon Christmassy break.

We still intend to hold our 'Grand Christmas Raffle' before the end of term as well as the infamous 'OPJS Hamper Raffle'. Further information will follow  over the next week or so.

Once again, thank you for your understanding and your support in still making it a special time this Christmas at OPJS.

Kind regards,
Mr Dave Goucher        Mrs Lia Billimore
